Apple season is here! Growing up, my dad was always making big batches of jams and jellies to give away to friends and family. My absolute favorite is his apple butter: full of fall spices and cider for that perfect balance of sweet and tart that every apple butter should have. This year we’ve taken our family apple butter recipe and baked it into a hand pie!
